The Project:
When Mr J H decided to update the bathroom in his property in the French Alps, he considered various bath replacement options. As part of this process, he found the Cabuchon website and made contact to discuss his requirements.
At well over 6 feet tall, he needed a bath that would be sufficiently large to enable deep immersion, and ideally, one that would accommodate shared bathing. He also wanted the bath to feature a hydrotherapy system that would ease aching muscles after an energetic day of skiing.
The Cabuchon team talked through the options and Mr J H eventually chose the Xanadu 2-person soaking tub with a bespoke hydrotherapy system. Support staff discussed the best placement of jets to suit his needs and physique and, once this was agreed, they began designing and crafting the bath itself.
Once complete, the bath was duly delivered to the client’s property in Les Deux Alpes.
“I’m really happy with the bath. The build quality is extremely high. The bath is much deeper than you think. I’m 6ft 4″ and, sitting diagonally, I can get fully submerged. I fitted a shower above and, due to the bath’s size, there is very little escape of water. The bath is solid and doesn’t move when using it with a shower. The hydrotherapy system will be very welcome after a day’s skiing. It’s a perfect executive luxury for a couple to share.”
